Description
Gari is a fine to coarse granular flour made from cassava tubers/roots. After harvesting the cassava is then grated and starch is squeezed out of it, left to ferment and then fried in palm oil. Yellow Palm oil is eaten in a variety of ways. As a meal it is often accompanied with different kinds of soups like melon, vegetable and okra soup.
